If you are experiencing a severe toothache, we offer same-day emergency appointments so that we can provide quick relief.

Root canals are sometimes needed to alleviate pain, eliminate infection, and save teeth that would otherwise be lost. Our conservative approach makes preservation of tooth structure a priority.

If a previous root canal treatment is failing, we carefully assess the reasons for this failure and help you determine whether a root canal “retreatment” is a worthy investment for you. When it is, we treat the tooth over the course of 2 appointments to allow for several weeks of antibacterial medication before we complete the procedure.

We offer “laughing gas” at no additional cost to help you remain relaxed during the delivery of our anesthetic at the beginning of appointments.

• Laser-Enhanced Root Canals: This state-of-the-art technology achieves better cleaning of the root canal spaces, reduces post-treatment discomfort, and improves outcomes with minimal removal of natural tooth structure.
• Dental Microscopes: By magnifying visibility up to 20x, we can identify and treat intricate details that would otherwise go unnoticed.
• Cone Beam CT Digital Imaging: A 3D view of your tooth’s internal anatomy improves our precision in diagnosis and treatment planning. We want to clean the whole root canal “system” – and we want to minimize removal of tooth structure along the way.

We believe a root canal is not finished until a permanent filling (also called a “core buildup”) is placed. We do this because we strongly believe this is the best way to preserve your tooth. Although you might still need a crown to be placed by your dentist at a later date, you will never complete treatment at our office with a temporary filling on the tooth.
